USEA is Excited to Announce a New Partnership with GumBits

The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is excited to announce a new partnership with GumBits. The company joined the USEA as a sponsor in 2015, and showed its support as a Contributing level sponsor at the 2015 Nutrena USEA American Eventing Championships.

GumBits promotes the salivation process and eliminates the teeth grinding which often can occur during the intense training of high performance sport horses. Not only does GumBits encourage chewing activity, trigger salivation, and eliminate teeth grinding, horses seem to love the sweet taste.

“We are very excited to expand our GumBits' sponsorships this year to include the Eventing discipline, and the National Championships [AEC] after primarily being focused on National Dressage Championships for ten years,” stated Principal Shereen Fuqua. “Lauren Kieffer brought to our attention last year how much GumBits, chewing gum for horses has helped her competition horses with relaxation from tension. Then many Eventers came forward with similar results including Olympian Hawley Bennett Awad, and other top high performance competitors, Matt Brown, Kate Chadderton and Bobby Meyerhoff. We are thrilled to become part of an exciting event!”

Upon arrival at the Texas Rose Horse Park, all competitors at the 2015 AEC received welcome bags with promotional materials, coupons, free samples and keepsake items. GumBits generously provided free sample packs for every participant, offering competitors the opportunity to test out the “all natural chewing gum for horses” on their equine partners.

“The GumBits sample packs were very popular with the competitors at the AEC,” stated USEA COO Rob Burk. “Many competitors returned to the office looking for more! We are excited to have GumBits signing on as the newest sponsor of U.S. Eventing.”
